UCB stands for United Christian Broadcasters.
UCB Cook Islands (and Life FM) is a full affiliate of UCB Asia Pacific (part of United Christian Broadcasters International). Together we are growing this important ministry to reach every Cook Islander.
UCB Asia Pacific is assisting us with training, IT expertise, business management, equipment maintenance, publicity and public relations. And we are very pleased to report that Life FM is back on air in two locations on Rarotonga.

The teaching and music you hear on Life FM is aimed at everyone who is young at heart. You will love the upbeat island sound and positive teaching.
Many of our community leaders are concerned for the welfare of the next generation of Cook Islanders as higher education, the search for employment and the frustrations of insufficient job vacancies lead many to abandon rural/village life and its associated community and family infrastructure, as well as the traditional values of the nation.
Working Together
Our ministry is all about partnership. Our team believe Life FM has a valuable role to play in maintaining contact with our next generation through high quality and solid value programs, reaching out through mobile phones, the internet and FM radio. But this can only be achieved when we work together. It’s not what we do but rather what we can do together with your help?
The Word for Today
In addition to our Life FM radio station, through our partnership with UCB Asia Pacific we are now able to distribute the internationally-popular and much-sought-after, daily devotional The Word for Today.
The Word for Today is now in circulation in the Cook Islands and around 30 other countries around the world, including many of our pacific neighbours. Authored by Bob Gass, these books have become one of the most popular Christian daily devotionals here in the Cook Islands and in many nations.
