Life FM and The Word for Today are the 2 ‘media’ ministries run here in the Cook Islands by UCB Cook Islands.
The ‘UCB’ in our name stands for United Christian Broadcasters.
UCB Cook Islands is an affiliate member of UCB Asia Pacific’s family. We work together to grow this important ministry to reach every Cook Islander.
UCB Asia Pacific assists us with training, IT and technical expertise, business management, equipment maintenance, and of course The Word for Today.

The teaching and music you hear on Life FM is aimed at everyone who is young at heart. You will love the upbeat island sound and positive teaching.
Many of our community leaders are concerned for the welfare of the next generation of Cook Islanders as higher education, the search for employment and the often negative influence of social media lead many to abandon their cultural roots, associated community and family infrastructure, as well as the traditional values of our nation.
Working Together
Our ministry is all about partnership. Our team believe Life FM and The Word for Today have a valuable role to play in maintaining contact with our next generation through high quality and solid value programs. To be effective we have to reach people through their mobile phones, the internet as well as print and FM radio. But this can only be achieved when we work together. It’s not what we do but rather what we can do together with your help!
The Word for Today
In addition to our Life FM radio station, through our partnership with UCB Asia Pacific each year we are able to distribute the internationally-popular and much-sought-after, daily devotional The Word for Today.
As well as here in the Cook Islands, The Word for Today is available in over 40 countries around the world, including many of our pacific neighbours. Authored by Bob Gass, these books have become one of the most popular Christian daily devotionals here in the Cook Islands and in many nations.
